Animal Rescue Work

CONTACT US
Village Gate Animal Hospital & Pet Resort is happy to work with the following organizations to provide veterinary care for animals in need. The doctors at Village Gate Animal Hospital & Pet Resort believe giving back to the community by working with animals who are less fortunate is an important part of who we are. Please note that each organization listed below is a separate and distinct organization and their officers and members are solely responsible for the policies they set. Village Gate Animal Hospital & Pet Resort is happy to assist each one of these organizations as we believe in the causes they represent. So if you have spare time, money or pet care items, consider helping out one of these organizations (or the many like them) that are tackling issues like pet abuse, homelessness, puppy mills, unwanted pets, feral animals, etc. You may be surprised at how much your assistance is valued. Ohio Pug Rescue

Ohio Pug Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit all-volunteer organization operating a surrender, foster care, and placement program for all Pugs in Ohio – no matter their age, condition, or health. We hope that if you decide a Pug is for you, you will consider adopting a rescue dog. They are wonderful animals who have run into circumstances beyond their control and now find themselves in need of a new home with people who are willing to make a commitment to them for the rest of their lives.

Golden Endings Golden Retriever Rescue

Golden Endings: Golden Retriever Rescue (GEGRR) is dedicated to the welfare of homeless Golden Retrievers who have entered the rescue program for a variety of reasons. They come from dog shelters, veterinarians, animal control officers or were found roaming the streets. Owners who are unable to keep their pets often contact us for assistance. Golden Endings is staffed by volunteers and is a registered non-profit corporation under Title 501(3)(c) serving the central Ohio and southeastern Ohio areas. There are several dozen Golden Retriever rescue organizations operating in the United States at this time. These rescue groups have been formed in response to the high numbers of pure-bred dogs who have populated dog shelters. People do abandon pure-bred dogs!
