BOOK APPOINTMENTThank you so much for your kind words!
My 8 week old puppy got very sick. I called about 7 vet offices who all told me they were too busy to see us. I reached Village Gate. They we’re completely booked, but understood the urgency to see my dog and made room for me. Everyone in the office was very nice and they were ready as soon as we walk in. Dr. Caudy was excellent. She spent time with me explaining all of the potential causes in a way that kept me from freaking out as the worst case scenario could have been life threatening. Thankfully the problem wasn’t anything that antibiotics couldn’t fix.
The next day I got a follow up call stating that all final tests were in and confirming there assessment from her initial tests. Then they asked how she was feeling and a few other questions to make sure my puppy was on her way to getting better.
Even though this office is not close to my house, I will be training my little lady there for all of her vet needs.
I have been taking my cats to Dr. Caudy and her staff for more than 10 years, and I’ve always been very, very happy with the service. I’ve had everything from a batch of rescued kittens and their mama to my elderly hospice kitty to my now 4-yrs-old Clem, from Cat Welfare. Dr. Caudy and her staff have no problem adjusting to the animal, be it hiding in the sink or behind a chair, or 5 little kittens running riot through the room. When I’ve had to say goodbye to my pets, everyone there is kind, compassionate, and understanding, and treats my beloved kitty as one of their own. They let me say goodbye as long as I needed. I couldn’t ask for better care than that I’ve received here, and as long as I have pets I’ll be bringing them here.
Dr. Watts and the VGAH staff were very helpful and willing to make special accommodations for my fear-aggressive pup during her visit. Dr. Watts and I were able to discuss a behavior plan prior to my visit and create an environment for my dog that minimized her triggers and kept her level of fear and anxiety to a minimum. They were willing to go the extra mile to help make my dog’s appointment go as smoothly as possible. Overall this has been the least stressful veterinary experience my dog has had in her 6 years of life. These doctors are willing to spend the time with you if you need it, which is a huge plus when dealing with a behaviorally-challenged pet. I would highly recommend VGAH if you want to have a low-stress experience for you and your pets!
